At first I thought this was a joke.
But alas, the Florida Senate in the US has outlawed the wearing of your pants in such a fashion that it exposes your under wear.

Let me get this right – we’re fighting a ‘war’ in Iraq, the price of petrol is way up, the climate is changing, people are loosing their houses because of the so called ‘credit crunch’ and you are worried about your youth wearing low slung jeans?
I hate that look. I mean, I really hate it, I think it looks bloody ugly and don’t see the need for it, but it would never occur to me to simply pass a law to make it illegal.
