‘Nude’ airport scanners under fire – News – Travel – theage.com.au.
’tis funny.
People don’t want a scanner that ‘see’s through’ their clothes and shows their wobbly bits to some security guard.
Come on, we all have them. Some wobble more than others, and its not like a guard on an 8 hour shift is going to be sitting their beating his stick over a bunch of chalk line images.
I must say, I find the whole airport security thing a bit mysterious. I know that hijackings has been going on for years, long before the horrible events in New York in 2001, and perhaps there is a need for more security. If it keeps the passengers safe. How long before this type of security becomes common place on train stations, bus depots, shopping malls, cinemas, you know, any where where a bunch of people gather.
Meanwhile, I want to try a ‘nude’ scanner – where do I find one?
