Apparently the celebrations are on for the pope baby. Angola will celebrate their 5th centenary of evangelization. The poor bastards. 500 years of catholic crap.
I did however, have a wonderful idea. Angola is one of the poorest countries in the world, what the Pope could do, to show his support in helping the poor get out of poverty, is sell up the Vatican and move to something a bit more humble in Angola. Then, he could invite the rest of the catholics, world wide, to come and live there too. The population is about half chrisitians (but only 38% catholic) and this would help to cement them as the leading catholic nation in the world, all the wealth could be distributed among the poor.
I wonder if the government will be paying the millions like the Australians did when he visited Sydney recently.
I think I’ll get a t-shirt made up.
