Prayer Wheels are used by buddhists
It is said that prayer wheels are used to accumulate wisdom and merit or good karma and to purify negativities such as bad karma.
Well, I’m surprised we don’t all have a prayer wheel hanging around so we can do a daily chant or two. Apparently you can even use them on websites. It’s nice to see an ancient device in use today. I’ve uploaded one to this page, so that whenever you like you can simply look at this page, say the magic words and have all sorts of good karma come your way.
If you want to go even further, you can even get some decals for you car [SOURCE]. You know, put them on your hubcaps. They’re only $15.00. Nice to see someone making money out of it too.
With every spin of the wheel, the prayer spread through the universe. By affixing our decal to your hubcap, you can convert your car into a mobile prayer wheel. With Om Mani Padme Hum revolving as you drive, you can help ease your karma while radiating wisdom and compassion into your life and into the world.
The magic words: Om Mani Padme Hum can have a variety of meanings, the dali lama has this to say by way of explanation:
“Thus the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[…]” [SOURCE]
Umm… ok. I like the idea of a pure exalted body. I have the body of a buddha.
Isn’t prayer simply amazing. And its such an easy task to do, the universe thanks you, I’m sure.
I’ll wait to see the results, no doubt we’ll all become exalted very shortly. So, you too can spend time sticking stickers to your hubcaps (there’s even a video to show you how) or you could spend some time doing something useful.  Like donating $15.00 to CARE Australia. That’s what I did. Something useful.
