If you want a sure way to die of cancer, go to a faith healer.
This would have to be the ultimate in wishful thinking. This bunch of whacko christians have opened a faith-healing ‘clinic’, I’m not sure why they use the word clinic.
Pastor Marie Rea said they used “aggressive” prayer techniques based on the teachings of Canadian evangelist John Lake.
Aggressive? How about that aggressive prayer. Do they lunge at you with clasped hands in an aggressive manner? How does it feel for god to have people praying aggressively to him, does he pay more attention or break out in a sweat as he enacts his ‘aggressive prayer protocols’? I guess if he was having problems with it he’d give them a damn good smoting. I sometimes lay awake at night dreaming of being smoted.
If this type of praying is really so great at healing, and you don’t even have to believe in god to be healed, then why don’t amputees grow their missing limbs back?
John Lake was a faith healer from the 1920’s. It’s claimed he healed over one hundred thousand people, in just 5 years.
The incredible stories of his ministry are too numerous to recount and difficult to verify.
I bet they are.
People who are sick need real help, from real doctors, not some bunch of morons who think the laying on of hands will not only save your life, but also your soul.
You’ll be pleased to know that John Lake still has an active ministry.
The entire ministry is moving to Denver, CO. We believe God has shown us that Denver is the place we are to relocate.
Oh, I just love that god is still showing his faithful the way. Did he put up a sign post, perhaps he hung a star above the new church, maybe he sent three wise llamas and a man in a dress.
Wishful thinking would be healers should be run out of town, let them pray their way back in.
