I’m quite fond of this letter sent to MP Geoff Shaw today:

Mr Shaw

Your comments, apologies and dissimulations notwithstanding are a disgusting disgrace. You are a blight on public life in Victoria and Australia.

The recent passing of our last surviving World War I veteran only serves to remind us all that he fought to preserve the freedoms of someone like me, from someone like you.

As far as I can determine the Equal Opportunity Amendment Bill 2011 has been tabled but not yet subject to vote and therefore the law has not changed. It is incorrect to state “The new Victorian Liberal party has rolled back the discrimination laws allowing church based religious organisations….”
