facebookYou’ve really gotta love what the christian get up to when they think they’re playing all by themselves.  So Obama wanted to veto some bill about banning abortions.  The right-wing christian god botherer and man I might add, Mark Rabich says that his mind boggles.  It boggles that a ‘leader’ (that’s the President of the USA who was voted into office with a majority to ‘lead’ the US) would call killing children health care.  I like that the link to the article includes a photo of the President holding a 3 month old baby that clearly is the result of a non-abortion.  Nice touch.

Anyway, I don’t know enough about the abortion debate on this bill, I want to comment on the comments.  I don’t mind that women want to abort their unborn babies.  It’s not my decision and I’m pretty sure that there is enough going on for them without yet another man telling them what to do.  That in the eyes of Mark Rabich makes me evil.

So, photo of President, allowing this baby to play with his nose – comment from Natalie N Johnson?  He hates children.  Yeah.  The President often tells his two daughters that he is evil and he hates them.

Then look, it’s Grandpa Uncle Billy the Not-Evil-My-Conscience-is-ok Mulehead.  He’s great comment about this evil?

people like Obummer and Julia are not real leaders of course. They are slaves to Satan,who was a murderer from the beginning.

So, President Obama, the duly twice elected President is now Obummer.  I guess I can’t pick on Billy for using quaint names.  But look, he’s not a real leader!  Of course!  How could I have missed it.  He is in fact a slave to Satan!  Woo hoo – that explains so much.  And Julia, before she wasn’t the Prime Minister of Australia, is also a slave.  To Satan.  Way to go non-leaders!  It’s so great that in two sentences he is able to explain that the reason there are people who support abortion is because they are slaves to the murdering Satan and therefore by extension they too are murders.

All we need to do now is pray for their souls.

I do love the Australian Cuntian Lobby.  They have such a wonderful way of looking at the world.

The call for free abortions expressed in the Sydney Morning Herald on 6 August (Call for free abortions as needy women priced out of procedure) based on the cost of abortions to needy woman demonstrates how the Government sector has its moral compass pointing away from women and their children towards perpetuating a culture of death.

This coming from christians – the ultimate death cult.  Life to them is unimportant.  They must serve their god who killed his own son and now they must die to meet their god.  It seems to me they’re the ones with the death culture.  So much so that they say to be born into eternal life you have to accept their god and then die.  Go figure.

This week, Debbie Garrett, Executive Director of Real Choices Australia (RCA) said that the cases cited in the SMH article “demonstrates how miserably we are failing to support women and children out of their dire circumstances by offering them surgical solutions to their social problems. The pregnant homeless woman should be provided housing and financial support rather than abortion”.

Real Choices Australia?  Must be a christian front group if ACL are using them as someone worthy of quoting.  Of course, they think that everyone should have a baby.  Never mind that the women we are talking about here are ‘needy’.  Their solution – call it a ‘social problem’ then suggest the government should provide housing and financial support.  No mention of the ACL or RCA doing anything practical other than passing the buck.

The Australian Christian Lobby contends that abortion is not the solution to the economic and social problems of pregnant women.

ACL will continue to lobby State Governments for significant abortion law reform that will eventually affirm a culture of life and protection for the unborn.

All the ACL is concerned about is that women have their babies, regardless of what happens afterwards.  It doesn’t matter that they are poor or that the child is unwanted.  They don’t see it as their role to put money into the solution.  No, they need that to fight the gays and their marriage proposal.   Much better to spend millions on lobbying the government to stop the gays having children they want!

The March commences at 1pm from Treasury Gardens and will feature an address from Lord Nicholas Windsor. The organisers are targeting an attendance of 20,000 to send a clear message to the Victorian Parliament that “we the people” demand rights for the unborn child.

The ACL claim that the right to marriage equality is not a right, it’s an invented right.  Now they want to invent new rights for unborn children.  They’re all for massing their forces to stop abortion but offer no real way to help those women other than to have the government to support them.

Another example of a bunch of men sitting around making grand decision that have no direct impact on their own lives but greatly affects the lives of those they seek to ‘help’.

So, the ‘meaning’ is the woman feels remorse and has her head buried in her hands in repentance.  The young child, a girl, transparent, is touching her hand on what we assume is her mothers head as an act of forgiveness.

It would seem that the mother regrets the abortion of the foetus that is now represent not by a lump of dead cells but a clothed girl, about 8 years old.

Of course, if the child had turned into the next Queen Mary1 many of the English would cheer her abortion.  If the child where to grow up and demand the death of all men with facial hair we would cheer her abortion and the mother kneeling here would in fact be rejoicing.

Pretending that abortion is a bad thing because you deprive the child of the chance of life is simply silly.  You may also be saving the world from something evil.  You maybe saving the child from a horrible life of pain and illness.

Tugging on the heart-strings is the christian method.  As with all their make-believe crap it’s all based on what might be instead of what is.

Spinksy and his christian resistance to thinking crowd really shouldn’t do the ‘what if’.  What if he’d never been born?

So, a Brisbane man, Graham Preston, has been jailed for not paying his fines worth $8,000.  He was fined for trespassing and resisting arrest.  He places himself between women trying to enter a clinic and intimidates and stops them from entering.

The women are heading into the clinic for an abortion.  This christian puts himself between the woman and the clinic.  For the last ten years he has been fined.  He’s refused to pay.  He’s been asked over 100 times to pay the bill, but has refused.

Christian fuck-wits now think this serial pest is a hero.  Me old mate Spinksys says this “Jailed for Being Pro-life”

Pro-lifer Graham Preston is facing 8 months in jail for peacefully protesting outside of abortion clinics. He is a strong reminder of the possible repercussions that can be faced for standing against immorality

No, he wasn’t peaceful at all.  He was trespassing and making a nuisance of himself.  He was yelling in the faces of women trying to go about their personal business.

Actually, if Preston was interested in doing his bit, he would pay the fine so that he could continue to protest.  Now he’s locked up.  And his crime was that he didn’t pay the fines, not for preventing ‘genocide of the unborn’.  This is nothing like fighting the slave trade, and he is not putting his life on the line for anyone.  He broke the law, he refused to pay the fine and has been locked up.  It’s really simple.

Meanwhile, Wally over at the ACL says this

No, he was fined for trespass.  He was fined for getting in the way.  He was jailed because he didn’t pay those fines, he was not jailed for peacefully protesting.

Christians just love to overlook the obvious.  Call him a hero because they really need a hero.

The reality is the ‘protest’ is a vigil that sees someone sitting on the stairs blocking people trying to gain access to the building.  People visiting the clinic have to step over the protesters.  They sit there with their little signs that say “Abortion kills children” and think that they’re doing gods work.

Those women visiting are confronted by people who think they know better.  I don’t know what it’s like to decide to have an abortion, but I think people making that decision have already done a lot of thinking.  This emotional protest is pretty grotesque and designed to make the woman feel guilt and cause deep emotional distress.

Preston is a fool, he should have paid the fines and ceased his obstruction.  Instead he is now costing us more money and christians nutters reckon this is a good thing.

The values of christians is pretty fucked up.  They want everyone to play by their rules alone.  When the police or the state step in to remove them, they scream about being the victims and not having the freedom to protest.

It seems that the new political party has registered enough supporters to be recognised by the Australian Electoral Commission.  I’m sure that’s exciting.  In the blurb about the new party Pasta Dan says:

We want to restore to Australia the common sense values and traditions which have made this country one of the best and most stable democracies in the world

That sounds fine, except that Pasta Dan is really a born again christian and writes things like this:

  • Another young boy who had recently rededicated his life to Jesus was standing at the altar and worshipping Jesus. Then suddenly he started screaming and rolling on the ground. He was set free of many demons. This young man had deliverance for almost 3 hours…
  • All I can say is that thousands of demons were cast out of dozens of people…
  • Demons are real. Do not under estimate them. But glory to God we have more power than demons…

@apiyor is one crazy Twitter user, somewhere in Africa.  I’ve followed him for years as he’s got a very strange outlook and tweets some bat shit crazy things.  In fact, over there on the right, all his latest tweets appear in a box.  He’s so much fun!

He tweeted this recently:

Now Herod was really pissed off1 that this new jewish king was about, so he planned to kill the child.  However, when the wise men didn’t return to tell him where jesus was he got really angry.

It seems that god told the wise men to return to their homes another way, thereby not going past Herod.  I would think that if god told you not to tell a living person where jesus was, you’d probably agree.

Herod in response went on to kill every child under two, just to be sure there was no competition to his throne.  Luckily god also told Mary and Joseph to fuck off to Egypt, so they missed the slaughter.

So, here you have a god who is apparently Master of The Universe, the same god that most christians think hates abortion, killing off a whole generation without a second thought.

God could easily have simply killed Herod.  He could have had the wise men give a false address.  He could have made sure that the wise men never saw Herod in the first place.  He could have ensure jesus was born in Washington DC.  But no, the way that this all loving god, the one that loves little children, decides to handle this is to simply kill lots of young people.

I just love the way he spins around his own ideas and changes things on the fly. He’s one very twisted person.

Margaret Forrester works for the NHS in England as a mental health worker in a health centre.  She was suspended last year because she was distributing a booklet on abortion in an abortion clinic.  She’d given the booklet to a fellow staff member because she felt that the NHS wasn’t giving enough information.  She’s also a catholic.  There’s a little bit of crazy on both sides, however, she appears to have been re-instated1.

We all know that religious nutters think that abortion is wrong, against the will of god and must be stopped.  The trouble with nutters is that they won’t listen to the experts and flat out lie to push their own point.

The NHS says it’s normal to feel a range of emotions after an abortion:

It’s normal to experience a range of emotions after an abortion, such as relief, sadness, happiness or feelings of loss. [SOURCE]

Seems like good practical advice.

Of course, the christian world is now very excited that Ms Forrester has been re-instated.  They talk about how all opinions should be offered for women who want to have an abortion, they talk about free speech and how important it is.  Over at defendchristians.org they said this:

Even though everything in the booklet was true and Margaret was eventually exonerated, Margaret almost lost her job simply for sharing a politically incorrect opinion.

So, let’s have a look at the booklet that she was passing around and talking about, it’s called “Forsaken – Women from Taunton talk about Abortion” and the website explains:

This book is about the reality of Post Abortion Syndrome (also known as “Post Abortion Stress”, “Post Abortion Trauma” or “Post Abortion Stress Syndrome”).

So, what’s Post Abortion Syndrome I hear you ask?  Well, I’m glad you asked, the booklet website says this about PAS:

The term “Post Abortion Syndrome” was first used in 1981 by Vincent Rue, a psychologist and trauma specialist, in testimony before the United States Congress. He had observed post-traumatic stress disorder which developed in response to the stress of abortion. He proposed the name “Post Abortion Syndrome” (PAS) to describe it.

Well, that sound fairly impressive.  Like I should actually believe there is such a thing.  Of course, I like to check these things, so I slipped over to Wikipedia and sure enough there is an article on PAS – in fact the first paragraph is exactly the same, but then read on:

The American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association do not recognize PAS as an actual diagnosis or condition, and it is not included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM-IV-TR or in the ICD-10 list of psychiatric conditions.

Oh?  But this important information doesn’t seem to have made it on the Forsaken site, in fact they go on to list a range of symptoms and they also claim that the book is about the ‘reality of Post Abortion Syndrome’ to which we are entitle to look a little surprised, purse our lips and go “oh?” with an upward inflection towards the end of the H to signify surprise.

Wikipedia goes on to say:

While some studies have shown a correlation between abortion and clinical depression, anxiety, suicidal behaviors, or adverse effects on women’s sexual functions for a small number of women, these correlations may be explained by pre-existing social circumstances and emotional health.

So when the defendchristians.org website says that everything in the booklet is true they are either deluded or flat out lying.

Ms Forrester is quoted as saying:

“Women need to be able to make a fully informed decision about having an abortion, as it will impact their lives forever.  They need to be made aware of all of the risks, including the well documented mental health risks.”

I agree, we all should be fully informed about the impact on our lives for any procedure that we are undertaking, however, we need true and accurate information, not hogwash that has no support in the medical and scientific world and is driven by people’s personal opinions and unsubstantiated claims, and especially not when they are driven from some fanciful belief in an imaginary pixie fairy wombat in the sky that kills his own son because one woman made a mistake and the rest of us are to blame.  That’s why Ms. Forrester you should keep your perverted version of the truth to your self.  It has no place in your professional life.

It’s worth reading this blog by  PERSONALFAILURE at Forever In Hell, she talks about the religious nutters and PAS – it’s very compelling.

Ms Forrester should have been sacked, and in the words of PERSONALFAILURE

Scientists Create Synthetic Organism

Guess who is standing in the way?  The Woman Cafolicks.  Bishop Domenico “Love cock” Mogavero1 has said that it could be a devastating step, he questions whether or not its ethical.  This from the same stupid religious death cult people that think abortion is wrong, even if it means both the mother and baby will die2, that stem cell research is wrong, even though it might save the lives of thousands of people3 , that wearing condoms is wrong, even though it might save the lives of thousands of people4  He wants to talk about ethics.

Get out of the way, stupid dress wearing bigot.  Religion is not in a position to talk about ethics, ever.  You believe in magic words and beings you can’t see.  This is about science, so .. ssssh… the grown ups are talking.

And what does ‘we make a life by what we give‘ really mean?  What do they give?  They don’t give anything, they sell items that evoke an emotional response from the public and encourage them to not consider the real issues, they sell items that attempt to make you go “Oh, that’s so cute” instead of “That’s gross, how could you do that”

In their mind they think that they are achieving ‘our goals’   It’s not clear whether that goal is making huge amounts of money off the back of the abortion industry or helping the do gooders prevent abortion.  Ultimately it would be unwise for the ‘pro-life’ group to prevail, as their business would have to fold.

There’s something vaguely unbecoming about this business.  Abortion is a messy business at the best of times, and here’s a crowd making money from it, preaching incorrect information in the name of jesus, when really they’re just making money so they can live a happy life.

Nobody has a right to tell you want to do.  There is no soul infused in the egg and sperm at the moment of contraception.  There is no god to look on in disgust at abortion, the decision to abort is that of the mother alone, the father may have some input – but really – butt out, its none of your damn business and shame on you for making a business out of this.

Dress wearing, silly hat bearing George Pell has been making speeches.  He’s been telling the world that we are becoming increasingly intolerant of the catholic faith.

Tolerance is a strange thing.  While George babes appears to make some good points, fundamentally he is saying that we need to accept the churches stance on all their ‘moral’ issues and not pick on them.  OK.  I can live with that.  I reserve the right to point out, however, that the church is wrong.  There is no jesus to die for your sins, (its almost that time of year again), there is no god to deliver commandments, there is no prohibition on putting your pleasing organ in someone of the same sex.  These ideals are just plain and simply wrong.  Go ahead, you believe them, but I don’t.  And I don’t accept your right to believe whatever you like either.  It does damage.  I know, I’ve been there.  The education of young people in the catholic tradition (or any other religious tradition) is wrong and must stop.  The sort of crap that young people pick up from being exposed to fancy tales of some almighty god is wearing thin when this same god does nothing to show his there.  Now is the time to enact change and for people in high places to sing out and point out the futility of faith.  This is gonna hurt.  Its time religion was frowned upon, the same way you frown on someone who talks to the dead, or takes their horrorscope seriously, or runs a red light thinking nothing is wrong with that.

Dismantling religion is dead easy.  Start to tax the church, land tax, payroll tax, goods and services tax, inheritance tax, no discounts for ‘charity’ concessions.  Force congregations to correctly pay their staff, the sisters and brothers, the office workers, the pastors, the wankers in silly hats, all of them.  Make it illegal for any form of discrimination just because your faith says being gay is wrong, being of a different faith is wrong, being female is wrong is no reason to deny employment or services to anyone at all.  Make those church based hospitals do what ever other hospital does, abortions, contraception, helping people out the door.  Make them expend public money just like everyone else does.  Those places on public land need to be available to any public group to use, what’s the point in bloody big churches on crown land only being uses a couple of times a week.  Make it illegal to wear any religious insignia, make the bible an MA 15+ book and have it moved to the fiction section in all bookshops and libraries.  Make churches marry anyone who applies for a marriage, regardless of faith or personal sexual satisfaction poking styles.

George Pell is in many ways a modern-day prophet. He courageously takes on the many challenges to what is important, what is right, and what is true. He knows that faith, family and life are all under major attack, and he is unafraid to stand up for them, politically incorrect as this may be.

He of course has many critics, even within his own church. But that is always the case with prophets. They are the ones most people refuse to tolerate. But prophets are desperately needed in these dark days. May there be many more George Pells raised up to counter the gathering gloom.

He’s not a prophet, modern day or otherwise. He’s a throw back to old days. He’s living in a fantasy world where he can dress in black with a splash of red (or purple) he gets to wear a stupid hat and hold a stick that is probably worth a fortune. He is the reason why family and life are under major attack, its under attack because his lot don’t want to let go of the power base they once had. They don’t want you to think for yourself. They want you to listen to them and the crappy bible. George Pell’s sense of ‘what is right’ is based on an error and a myth. He’s concept of ‘what is true’ is wrong and a mistake. His life is based on a fairy story, and its time the world started point it out to them and laughing at what is so wrong about their faith.

My ambition this easter is to ask this question.

Just what is it that Jesus sacrificed for you?

According to the bible, he died for your sins. He gave up his life so that you could have eternal life. But hang on a tick, according to the babble, he rose on the third day, alive. So, what was it he gave up? The answer is nothing. He got it back again, and he was always going to get it back again.

Its time for religion to go out the door, its time we evolved to caring for each other out of mutal respect, not because of some notion that god told us to do it. Its time the silly hat wearing brigade joined the rest of the world and did some real work for proper money. (The could also do with a snut grabbing)
